Here is something that I think will make you money:
John Gruden is one very outmatched coach IN GAME.
The Raiders have played three competitive football games while failing to win one. Their second half performance, however, has been horrible. They've been outscored 17/64 in the second half so far (7/20,0/23 and 10/21). So I'll be looking to fade Oakland in the second half of any game that has a competitive first half score attached to it.
This week, naturally, Oakland hosts the Browns and Baker Mayfield, and they are favored, although the line has dropped from 3- to 2- based on Bakermania. I say naturally because one Coach I am not a fan of is Hue Jackson (how many games has HE blown late?). Nonetheless, if the situation is right, I'll fade Oakland again.
Andrew Luck got replaced on the last play of the Philly game because he didn't have the arm to throw a Hail Mary. Telling.
DeShawn Watson does not look like the same player.......yet. He likely will but guessing when not easy.
Naturally, it's Watson v Luck this week lol.
Fitzmagic is starting to run out. He runs in Khalil Mack this week.
Don't kneejerk to the Vikings plus 6- at the Rams. Minny dealing with some issues and Rams may be the most complete team in the game right now.
Is this a trap game for KC, laying (only?) 4- on the road to Denver? Division dog with the far better defense looks like a tempting take. KC's game is speed, if it's neutralized a bit Denver can win. Yet again, however, I don't love the Coach of the team I want to play on.
I don't know that anyone is beating Bama but I love the look of this young LSU team. Also like the way Stanford plays and want to be on them Saturday (especially with line moving up based on the play of new ND QB) but do have to consider the Cardinal is coming off that breathtaking win at Oregon and traveling x-country for this one.
By the way, props to Gail's Eastern Michigan team that played AT PURDUE, then played AT BUFFALO and then played AT SAN DIEGO STATE and covered handily. That's backbreaking. This is a well-coached group.
